Subject: Simchat Torah
Whereas the shul (Young Israel of East Talpiot) went from 07:30 til
13:45, our "geriatric" VATIKIN minyan started at 06:00 and finished at
09:30. What's especially upsetting (in Israel) is that Simchat Torah *is*
also Shmini Atzeret: you have 4 hours of wild dancing and right after Kriyat
haTorah is Yizkor.
Some baalebatim rebelled and started a special vatikin minyan on Simchat
Torah.

Ken Miller's rule is correct (I am uncertain as to where the rule
is allegedly violated if at all in our davening)
Some sources Ken? (By all means correct the siddur if they
are wrong)
